With 25 years of experience in the hotel industry, Jeffrey Cohen brings a wealth of expertise in sales, marketing, and digital strategy. He began his career at Morgan Stanley in Washington, DC, where he advised top hotel executives, including those from Marriott, Choice, and Wyndham, on option exercise packages. In 2003, Jeffrey relocated to Atlanta and became the Associate Publisher of AAHOA LODGING BUSINESS magazine. There, he led sales and strategy for eight years, managing a publication with 18,000 monthly subscribers and launching its website and digital products, which resulted in multiple new revenue streams.

Jeffrey then moved to LODGING magazine, the official publication of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA), where he worked for 14 years. With a circulation of 35,000 per month, LODGING served hotel owners, brands, and management companies, and Jeffrey helped drive advertising strategies and advocacy efforts across the industry. Over the years, he attended over 300 hotel industry events, strengthening relationships and driving engagement.

In 2016, Jeffrey founded B2B PRO Marketing, a digital marketing agency helping manufacturers target key decision-makers in the hotel industry. He used digital strategies such as SEO, inbound marketing, and content development to deepen client engagement.

Since joining Safemark in 2019, Jeffrey has worked with interior designers, purchasing companies, hotel owners, and operators in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. He developed Safemark’s Continuing Education Program and is dedicated to advancing guest room innovation, including the introduction of premium audio, enhanced valuables protection, and advanced food and medicine-grade minifridges.
